| What
is organizing?
|
|
Organizing
is about designing your space so that it reflects who
you are and what is important to you. It is
arranging things logically and efficiently so that
staying organized will be easy for you. Organizing is
not a hopeless, overwhelming chore. It is a skill that
can be learned through practice and concentration.

|
| Who
needs a Professional Organizer?
|
|
Anyone
who is feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or thinking
there is no way to gain control of the clutter in
his/her business or personal life needs a Professional
Organizer. No one is born
organized. Many people are just overwhelmed
with too many projects and are uncertain how or where to
begin.
|
| Why
should I be organized?
|
|
You
can no longer afford not
to be organized. Organizing
has become a survival skill. In business, being organized increases efficiency
and productivity, which potentially increases profits. At home, it means more time with your family,
more time for hobbies, exercise, or other things that
are important in your life. Clutter steals energy away from you and is
emotionally draining. In
short, being organized means less stress. It creates A
Calming Effect.
|
| What
will A
Calming Effect do when we work together?

solutions, suggestions, and choices.
-
Work
along with you to decide what to keep.
-
Eliminate
disorganization, clutter, and chaos from the home or
work environments.
-
Customize
the process and solutions to fit your needs and
preferences.
-
Assist
you in creating a calm and peaceful environment with
systems to keep it easily organized.
-
Give
you encouragement and support every step of the way.
-
Provide
follow-up to keep you on track once your system is
in place.
|
| What
will I do when we work together?
|
-
Make the time to participate in all steps of the organizing process.
-
Make decisions - we are not focusing on getting rid of things, but
more on what is essential to you.
-
Be willing to make changes.
-
Be willing to do maintenance once the organizing project is
complete.
|
| How much will this cost?
|
|
Organizing projects are handled either at an hourly rate or by the
project. Organizing
projects differ from house to house and office to
office, depending on the scope of work to be done and
the client’s involvement in the process. Based on an initial consultation, we will arrive at a time estimate
for the work to be done. After the initial review, you will be presented
with a proposal and plan of action.
|
| How
often will you help me?
|
|
I will meet with you just once or on an on-going basis.
Some clients have requested help with a
particular project only. Other clients have embarked on a gradual plan
where we will eventually declutter and re-organize all
of the main areas in their homes or businesses. Repeat clients are eligible for discounted rates.
|
| Can
you provide me with references?
|
|
Absolutely.
References are
available upon request.
|
| What
if I’m too embarrassed to have you see my mess?
|
|
That's understandable, but you need not worry.
I am here to provide workable and manageable
solutions to your organizing challenges. All work is nonjudgmental and your
confidentiality is completely ensured. Once your organizing project is complete, you
will be more than happy to have people view your calm
surroundings!
